Invest in art. Invest in community.
Thank you for taking the time to consider sponsoring Green Light Arts, an award-winning theatre company in Kitchener-Waterloo.
We deliver well-crafted, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatrical projects and craft meaningful ways of connecting with our community. Green Light Arts is an incubator of theatrical art that centers community and prides itself in presenting work that reflects community challenges, celebrations, and resilience.
About Green Light Arts
Bold. Provocative. Contemporary.
Green Light Arts (GLA) is a professional theatre company with the goal of lifting up voices and perspectives often not heard from by the general population. GLA is based out of the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts (Conrad Centre) in the heart of downtown Kitchener and primarily serves the greater Waterloo Region.
GLA distinguishes itself by delivering text-based, contemporary productions that embrace artistic risk and often provoke engagement with charged social issues. We are known for our brand of theatre-making but also for our history of partnering with other companies and institutions towards a collectively stronger arts ecology. We also contribute to the region developing as a corridor by attracting talent and fostering professional networks of artists and arts workers who work between Stratford and Toronto as well as in broader theatre circuits.
Over the last 12 years, we have pushed the boundaries of what can be accomplished by theatre with 8 professional world premieres, and numerous local productions of thought-provoking, quality theatre that highlights diverse voices and stories in our community.
