For Downtown Kitchener's annual placehacking festival, we teamed up with designers Michelle Purchase and Agnes Niewiadomski (AGNESMAKES) to animate a series of pop-up rooms they constructed out of textiles called the FIBRE FUNHOUSE.

Audience toured through each of the rooms at their own pace (polka dot room, rainbow room, star room, trading post, forest room, and Granny's tea room) and encountered quirky characters along the way.

The experiment featured repeat performances on a continuous loop. Audiences listened to stories, participated in a sing-a-long, traded secrets for trinkets, wrote wishes on stars, and made flowers out of yarn. It was a zany roaming improvisational theatrical trip we called THE HOUSE OF FUN.
