Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman, PLAYWRIGHT | Sudden Death
Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman is a Governor General and Dora nominated playwright, winner of The Herman Voaden National Playwriting Award, and of the K.M. Hunter Artist Award. She graduated from the playwriting program at National Theatre School and writes for theatre, radio, film, and television.
Theatre: The End of Pretending (Paprika, Summerworks, Regent theatre). Scratch (Factory Theatre, La Licorne, Theatre Plexus, Off-Broadway Players), Sudden Death (Next Stage) Twisted with Joseph Jomo Pierre (Factory Theatre). Directed and co-created: Highway 63: The Fort Mac Show (Arts and Culture Tour of NL and Labrador, Theatre Passe Muraille. Dramaturgy: Unknown Soldier written by Jonathan Seinen. Two Birds One Stone written by Natasha Greenblatt and Rimah Jabr (Tarragon workspace), Iphegenia and The Furies (On Taurian Land) by Ho Ka Kei (Jeff Ho) Saga Collectif. Charlotte wrote for CBC Radio's Afganada and for the TV series KING. Currently she is developing two new musicals as well as a few feature films.

Matt is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Green Light Arts. Prior to moving to Kitchener he produced theatre for 5 years with Necessary Angel Theatre, one of Canada’s foremost contemporary theatre companies. Directing for GLA: Will You Be My Friend, Touch, The Amish Project, Andy Warhol presents: Valerie, Camp Knot-a-cult, You Be Me (Guarded Girls workshop). Other directing: There are No Gays in Chechnya (PG1 Entertainment 2019), #churchtoo (Theatre of the Beat), Eurydice (University of Waterloo), Adam Bailey is on Fire (National Fringe circuit), Twelfth Night and Hamlet (KW Youth Theatre), Bone Cage (Hart House Theatre). Upcoming: The Seagull (University of Waterloo). Other: Matt is a sessional instructor in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Waterloo. He holds a Masters in Theatre from the University of Toronto’s Graduate Centre for the Study of Drama and an Hon. BA in Theatre and Drama Studies from the University of Toronto at Mississauga.
